Grazing gals specializes in brush clearing services, but we will also come out and graze fields, or anywhere that you have overgrowth of plants, brush, or grass. If we do see too many toxic species, unfortunately, we will not be able to graze that area But that will be specified in our walk-through of the property before we take any deposit.
Animal grazing, particularly with goats and sheep, improve soil health by various mechanisms there is, grazing activity such as hooves, trampling and compacting the soil, creating micro channels that improve aeration and water infiltration this also helps in breaking down of organic matter which intern, improve soil structure. Also their manure deposits and urine, add a wide range of nutrients back into the soil, naturally fertilizing it in reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers this process also simulates microbial activity and promotes a balanced ecosystem witch also enhances, soil structure, and fertility. leading to healthier ecosystems in the long run, as well as better land for you and then healthier environment for all of us!
we do! we bring everything that we need for our animals. We bring electric netting to keep the goats safe and in the area that needs to be cleared as well as protect them from predators, we will bring our own water For our goats as well as provide shelter if there’s going to be bad weather.
Yes, we will come and check up on the goats quite frequently. sometimes multiple times a day to make sure that they are doing their job. They have everything that they need and that everyone is in order so don’t worry if you see us around.
goat and sheep grazing is a natural process to clear land. That dose mean that some brush especially trees and larger brush will be left behind! We do offer services to come in and remove left over brush at an extra cost at request but the overall end result will look natural.
first we will come out inspect for toxic plants in the area you want cleared as well as survey the area for size amount of brush and time it will take and give you a quote. once that is done we will sign the contract and take deposit as well as agree on a start date. We deliver on Saturday’s and pickup on Saturday’s witch can very depending on the job size. we will come in set up pens weed wack or clear brush so the fence can be put in the same day! From there we will come check in on the animals until the job is done and we take them home!
